RenewaFi CEO Noam Yaffe Shares BESS Pricing Intel on Aurora Energy Research Webinar

RenewaFi CEO Noam Yaffe appeared on a recent webinar hosted by Aurora Energy Research to discuss BESS toll pricing in ERCOT.

Based on RenewaFi marketplace data, the median BESS toll offer price from developers was $9.40/kW-month. The median bid price from offtakers, meanwhile, was $7.90/kW-month.

This was based on 91 bids and offers for tolls with 2-hour batteries starting between 2025 and 2028.

The overlap between the bids and offers aligned well with Aurora's BESS toll pricing model.
