RenewaFi, the platform for renewables offtake, today announced it will host a webinar titled “ERCOT PPA Pricing in the New Era of Load Growth” on Thursday, July 11th at 2:00 PM. Moderated by RenewaFi founder and CEO Noam Yaffe, the webinar will feature two panelists: Jared Johnson of Engie and Jeff Osmond of Cypress Creek Renewables.
In April, ERCOT revised its load growth projection for 2030 by a massive 40 GW. The revision was fueled by growth across a range of sectors in Texas, including artificial intelligence, data centers, and industrial electrification, among others. As a result, the value of solar and wind PPAs skyrocketed by as much as 25%, according to the RenewaFi Price Tracker.
